June and September are perfect — warm but not crowded. August is peak season: busy beaches, higher prices.
A car is useful for beaches outside town. The centro storico is best explored on foot.
Lunch 12:30–14:30, dinner 20:00–22:30. Restaurants close between meals. Book ahead in summer.
