Alghero is the perfect base for exploring northwest Sardinia. In a day you can reach Stintino, Asinara, Bosa, Castelsardo. And in the evening you return to your home, on the seafront.

Alghero-Fertilia airport (AHO) is just 12 km from my apartments — 15 minutes by car. Direct flights from Milan, Rome, and major European cities (Ryanair, Volotea, easyJet).
The nearest port is Porto Torres, 35 km away. Connections with Genoa, Civitavecchia, Barcelona. From there, scenic coastal road to Alghero.
Once you land or disembark, car is the best way to explore. Rental available at the airport and in town.
